Loft Life

Part of me thinks it would be really cool to live in a loft with big open spaces. Another part, or maybe the same part, of me wants to live in a tree house. Realistically though, I need walls and doors to conceal messes and for privacy. I love this loft. I love the red brick, the wood, and the textures. I really love the bed. Someday I will have a canopy bed.

The fact that you almost went to the architecture program at Cal Poly does sound familiar; good thing you didn't - you might have stolen my husband! He studied for 9 months in Florence too. Didn't your study abroad include Florence?
I dream sometimes about living loft style - not even necessarily about the loft part, but just right smack dab in an urban environment where I could walk 2 short blocks to a Dean & Deluca Grocers or something like that.

In reference to two of your other posts; we're looking forward to Conan being earlier too - we seem to have become more & more enchanted with him lately (maybe enchanted is the wrong word).

And the Joaguin interview?!! Haha, I amost posted about that too! That was so bizarre!! It seemed pretty real to me based on the way his character type comes across, but it's like you just wish it was a joke - a huge joke!
I like to tell people about how I have had a conversation with Joaquin Phoenix - a few years ago on Rodeo Dr. when were site seeing in Beverly Hills, I saw him on the street & casually entered the same bookstore he entered (ok so this is called following, but Paul was using the restroom in there so I had an excuse!) -- then when I could have used another row to walk to the back of the store, I walked down the one he and his 2 friends were standing in chatting instead.
This was our conversation:

Me: 'Excuse me.'
Joaquin (first name basis): 'Oh it's ok.'

It was so - so - so - ENLIGHTENING!!
...I feel like I need to help him find his way back to the light now - he's so lost. ;)

By the way, he was still pretty cute in person (back then), but a little shorter than I would have expected (maybe 5'9" or 5'10" at the max)

I could totally see you living in a hip place like this. I love the canopy bed too.

That bed is sweet! Oh and craigslist people are super flaky (most of them anyway). Did Adam get the boots? Mark wants red snakeskin ones.

To answer Breanne, I studied in Florence too but a bunch of different cities as well over the course of two months.

Adam never got the boots. I was hoping but the guy never emailed us back. Free stuff on Craigslist goes incredibly fast.
